Our campers enjoy 3 meals a day, plus the peanut butter and jelly station and soda machine is always available for those in between meals snacks.
Breakfast at camp is AWESOME! All you can eat buffet style starting at 6AM. Scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, french toast, waffles, pancakes, cantaloupe, toast, cold cereals. Milk, OJ, coffee, hot chocolate. Did I mention bacon?
Lunch: Kids make their own lunch in the morning, to take up in their backpacks to the mountain each day. Sandwich goodies: Turkey, ham, roast beef, salami, 4 kinds of cheeses, lettuce, condiments. Fruit: apples, oranges, bananas. Cookies: Chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, sugar.
Dinner: Buffet style, starting around 6PM. Each night is a different theme.
Sunday: roast beef or turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, corn, green beans, cranberry, and a fabulous salad bar. Dessert: vanilla and chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, whip cream, sprinkles!
Monday: Mexican Food: Tacos, soft tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos,quesadillas,Spanish rice, salad bar. Dessert: cake!
Tuesday: Italian night: Lasagna (vegi and meat choice), spaghetti, linguine, mac & cheese, cheese bread, meatballs, bread sticks So very delicious! salad bar too. Dessert: Jello/whip cream!
Wednesday: Every Wednesday, we load everyone up in our busses/vans and take them to Wildwood park for our weekly picnic. Burgers, cheeseburgers, chicken breasts, beef ribs, garden burgers, watermelon,salad, fruit salad, potato salad, potato chips, pasta salad, and the world famous camp brownies!
Thursday: leftover night. Usually includes the favorites from Mexican and Pasta nights, plus they have breaded chicken nuggets, rice, mashed potatoes, biscuits, salad bar. Dessert: Soft chocolate cake....it's to die for! Microwave for 17 seconds, then add some whip cream. Delish!
Friday: Asian foods: Korean beef, mandarin chicken, fried rice, white rice, steamed vegetables, vegetarian egg rolls, cod fillets, salad bar. Dessert: meringue pavlova, Creme brûlée!
Saturday: Pizza night! Lots of different toppings. Also chicken wings, French fries, Caesar salad and our usual salad bar. Dessert: dessert pizza, fried dough.
If you are celebrating a birthday during your time at camp, make sure we know about it ahead of time.......the kitchen staff will bake you a delicious cake.
For gluten free campers we suggest a two pronged approach:
1. Camper brings their own snacks and any favorite meals for our kitchen staff to prepare.
2. Our staff will make gluten free substitutes after consulting with the camper as to which ones would be appropriate .
